RESDI, in collaboration with CEPA – Friends of the Earth, organised a hands-on workshop to raise awareness about energy poverty among the residents of Luník IX. The event brought together representatives of support professions active in the area and members of the local community to discuss practical solutions for reducing energy consumption and costs. This workshop was thoughtfully tailored to the unique socio-economic and housing conditions of Luník IX, offering practical advice on saving energy while cooking, heating, and using water.
Bilingual and Inclusive Approach
One standout feature of the workshop was its fully bilingual format – conducted in both Slovak and Romani. To ensure broader accessibility, we also included a Romani-language translation of 30 recommendations from the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (SIEA). The material is now available as an attachment to our downloads section, providing valuable insights for Romani-speaking households.
Free Energy Saving Advice in Romani
In addition to our workshops, RESDI offers free expert guidance for municipalities and households aiming to lower their energy bills. Whether you’re looking for advice on energy-efficient technologies or tailored solutions, our team is here to help. Importantly, our support is also available in Romani, making it inclusive for everyone.
